This workshop is a two hour taster session for those wanting to find out what agility is all about before committing to booking onto a course.

We will start to teach you to some of the popular commands used in agility and start get the dogs introduced to some of the equipment.  This is all extremely low-level so is suitable for dogs aged from five months and older.  There will be no jumping for puppies.

Following this workshop, you will then be invited to join a regular beginners agility course.

This workshop will be held in our private field in Woodmansterne Lane, Banstead, Surrey, SM7 3EY.
Where is the workshop held?
Depending on the weather and time of year, the workshop will either take place at our private field or indoor riding school, both in Banstead.
What do I need to bring?
- High value treats such as cooked meat or cheese (your dog's favourite food!)
- A selection of toys if your dog likes to play
- A harness and a long line if you do not have good off lead control of your dog.
Can more than one of us attend?
Yes definitely.  Children are also welcome to come and take part.
Will there be classes available if we enjoy the workshop?
Yes - you will be given a chance to join a weekly agility class following attendance of this workshop.

We've always wanted to try agility after seeing it at Crufts so I couldn't wait to take my Border Collie along to this workshop. We had the best time and Poppy was so tired afterwards! The trainers were great and only use reward based methods which I love. We have now signed up to a regular wekkly agility class with CK9 and it's one of the highlights of our week!
We started agility with CK9 2 years ago when my pup was 6 months old and we’re hooked from the first taster session we attended. Virginia, the trainer, was so patient and encouraging from the start and her passion for agility is so infectious. This combined with her knowledge of dog training, in particular her knowledge of what makes a collie tick, has been invaluable to me over the past 2 years. She has helped me through so many obstacles on and off the agility field and we can’t thank her enough for that.

Virginia has created such a lovely, supportive community feel within the class and we have made some lovely friends as a result

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending anyone to attend Virginia’s classes, she’s an absolute star!

Our grand-daughter loved doing this with our Labrador Joey. Great fun and really good for building a bond with your dog. Would highly recommend.
We had such a blast on this workshop - Maisie loved it and was shattered afterwards! Looking forward to joining a weekly agility class now
