Does your dog always come back to you when you call him at home but not when out on a walk? Does your dog come back to you when there are no distractions but chooses to ignore you if there are? Is walking your dog becoming a chore as you spend most the time trying to get him back?
If you are struggling to get your dog to come back to you when outside and have lost your confidence in letting him off the lead, then this workshop is for you! We hold the workshop over two days (90 minutes per session) giving you time to practise what you learn, and to develop your training skills.
The first day of the workshop takes place in Nonsuch Scout Hall, Ewell. We will show you lots of different foundation games for keeping your dogs focused, engaged and wanting to come back to you! We will also start to introduce dogs to recall to a whistle.
You have two weeks to practise everything you have learned before the second session which will take place outside in Nonsuch Park, Ewell. We will take everything you have learned in the first session, start to add in more distractions and progress you on, all in a real life park situation.
The dates for the next workshop will be:
Sunday 29 September 10.45am - 12.15pm at Nonsuch Scout Hall, Ewell
Satruday 12 October 12.30pm - 2pm at Nonsuch Park, Ewell
You must attend both sessions to get the most out of the workshop.
