Terms and Conditions for Private Behaviour Consultations and Training Programmes

1. General

1.1 By booking a private behaviour consultation or enrolling in a training / behaviour programme with CK9 Training, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Behaviour consultations and programmes are designed to address specific behavioural issues and require active participation from the client.

1.3 These services are tailored to individual dogs and their unique needs, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed due to the variability in behaviour, environment, and commitment levels from the client.

2. Payment and Fees

2.1 Payment for consultations and programmes must be made in full before the first session.
2.2 Fees for behaviour consultations and training sessions are non-refundable, except as specified in Section 4.  If the programme has already started, fees are non-refundable. 
2.3 Payment plans for programmes may be offered at CK9 Training’'s discretion. Failure to adhere to the payment plan may result in suspension of services. These will be discussed with the client at the time of booking.

3. Booking and Scheduling

3.1 All consultations and programme sessions must be scheduled in advance.
3.2 Clients are responsible for ensuring their availability for scheduled sessions. Missed sessions without appropriate notice may not be rescheduled or refunded.
3.3 Any additional sessions outside of the agreed programme will incur additional fees.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

4.1 Cancellations with at least 24 hours notice are eligible for rescheduling.
4.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will not be eligible for rescheduling or refund, except in exceptional circumstances at CK9 Training’'s discretion.
4.3 If CK9 Training cancels a session, it will be rescheduled..

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1 Clients must provide honest and complete information about their dog’s history, behaviour, and any prior incidents.
5.2 The client is responsible for implementing the training plan and strategies as advised by CK9 Training.

6. Dog Safety and Health

6.1 All dogs must be free from contagious illnesses when attending sessions.
6.2 Clients must disclose any medical issues or injuries their dog has prior to the consultation. 6.3 Dogs should be managed safely and appropriately during all sessions to ensure the safety of everyone involved. CK9 Training staff will advise clients on this.

7. Behaviour Programmes and Training Sessions

7.1 Programmes consist of private sessions, online courses, Whatsapp and phone support.
7.2 Programmes must be completed within the specified timeframe at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
7.3 Follow-up support is limited to the duration and terms specified in the programme agreement.

8. Liability

8.1 CK9 Training will not be held liable for injuries, damages, or loss caused by the client’s dog before, during, or after sessions.
8.2 Clients accept responsibility for managing their dog’s behaviour and implementing safety protocols as advised.

8.3 CK9 Training is not liable for outcomes where clients do not follow the training plan or implement advice.

9. Training and Behaviour Results

9.1 Behaviour modification requires time, consistency, and effort. CK9 Training cannot guarantee specific results due to factors beyond its control.

9.2 Progress depends on the dog’s temperament, history, environment, and the client’s commitment to the training plan.

10. Confidentiality and Privacy

10.1 Information shared during consultations is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without the client’s consent.
10.2 Clients agree to respect the confidentiality of training materials and refrain from sharing them without permission.

11. Media and Testimonials

11.1 With the client’s prior consent, CK9 Training may use photos, videos, or testimonials for marketing purposes.
11.2 Clients may withdraw consent for media usage at any time by providing written or verbal notice.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

13. Agreement

13.1 By booking a consultation or enrolling in a programme, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
