What We Can Help With

Serious Behaviour Issues? We Can Help.

We specialize in complex behaviour modification including aggression, severe separation anxiety, resource guarding, and fear-based behaviours. Our experienced team has successfully helped dogs with serious behavioural challenges – even when other trainers have given up. If you're dealing with a difficult behaviour, you're in the right place.

Our 1-2-1 training sessions are ideal for addressing a wide range of challenges and goals:

Serious Behaviour Issues:

  • Aggression – toward people, other dogs, or in specific situations; we assess and create safe management and modification plans

  • Severe separation anxiety – destructive behaviour, self-harm, or extreme distress when left alone

  • Resource guarding – aggression around food, toys, spaces, or people; safely modifying possessive behaviour

  • Fear-based reactivity – dogs who react out of fear or anxiety rather than excitement

  • Bite history – working with dogs who have bitten or shown serious aggression

  • Extreme fear or phobias – dogs paralyzed by fear or with severe anxiety disorders

Common Training Challenges:

  • Reactivity – dogs who bark, lunge, or show frustration toward other dogs or people on walks

  • Recall issues – teaching reliable recall even with distractions

  • Leash pulling – transforming stressful walks into enjoyable experiences

  • Jumping up – teaching polite greetings with visitors and on walks

  • Separation anxiety – helping your dog feel calm and confident when left alone

  • Fear and anxiety – building confidence in nervous or fearful dogs

  • Teenage regression – getting adolescent dogs back on track

  • Rescue dog support – helping newly adopted dogs settle and build trust

  • Advanced training – specialized skills beyond basic obedience

Not sure if 1-2-1 training is right for you? Get in touch and we'll discuss your situation. We'll recommend the best approach for your dog – whether that's private sessions, group classes, or a combination of both.

Can't Make Training Sessions? We've Got You Covered

We understand that life gets busy, and sometimes traditional training sessions don't fit your schedule or circumstances. That's why we offer flexible alternatives that still deliver professional training results.

Done-For-You Training

Short on time or unable to attend training sessions? We can come and collect your dog, work with them for an hour, and bring them back home – all without you needing to be present.

How it works: We pick up your dog at a time that suits you, take them for a focused training session (at our field or in an appropriate location), work on the goals you've set, then return them home. You'll receive updates on what we covered and guidance on how to reinforce the training at home.

  • Busy professionals who can't commit to regular training times

  • Parents with young children who find attending sessions difficult

  • People with mobility issues who struggle to participate in active training

  • Dogs who focus better without their owner present (surprisingly common!)

  • Specific skills training like recall, lead walking, or reactivity training

Training While You're Away – House-Sitting Service

Going on holiday or away for work? We offer a unique service where we come and stay at your home to look after and train your dog while you're away.

  • Daily training sessions – working on the goals you've set (recall, lead walking, settling, etc.)

  • Regular updates – photos, videos, and progress reports so you can relax knowing your dog is thriving

  • Routine maintenance – walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention

  • Personalized training plan – tailored to your dog's needs and your goals
